Nursery care is available for children birth to age 4 on Sunday Mornings, Wednesday Evenings and during special events throughout the year. Our goal is to create a loving and safe environment where your child can learn about and experience God’s love.
We recommend you bring a diaper, bottle/sippy cup and a change of clothes each time, as well as lovey or other item needed for comfort. Please be sure that all your child’s belongings are clearly labeled with his or her name.
When dropping your children off, please let our nursey attendants know anything that might affect their time in the nursery. We ask that you fill out a short information card on your first visit into the nursery to help us care for your child.
Moments With Children
Sundays during worship, we have a special moment in which we invite the children forward to sit on the carpet for a Bible truth just for them. Parents are encouraged to begin bringing your child forward as soon as you feel they are able. We recognize every child will reach this moment at a different age.
Toddler Sunday School class 9:15-10:15
Older Toddlers (about 18 months – 4 years old) are invited to explore who God is through stories, crafts, and play. We know that every child develops at a different pace, so it is the parent’s decision on when your child begins coming to Sunday School. When your child is able to sit and listen to short stories, and follow simple instructions, they should do well in this class. The flow of it will be free play while everyone arrives, gathering in a circle for a story, and then participating in a simple craft or activity relating to the story. The class will end with more free play. You are welcome to join your child in this class. We currently use God Loves Me storybooks to frame our time together.
If you have any comments or questions about these ministries, or would like to volunteer in one of them, please contact Elizabeth the associate pastor of children and youth ministry.
