Day School

Welcome to our Preschool: Serving Aledo and East Parker County

Hello! My name is Misty Gober and I am so excited to take on the role of Director at Faith Presbyterian Day School. FPDS has always held a special place in my heart and I feel so blessed to be coming back. I served as Assistant Director at FPDS from 2011-2016, and my daughter had the privilege of attending for four of those years. For the last three years, I worked for the Cook Children’s Health Foundation. While I enjoyed working for such a worthy cause, I truly missed the daily interaction with children. My passion is working with children and their families, and I look forward to meeting each of you and creating lasting relationships.

On a personal note, my degree is in Social Work and I am currently a Licensed Social Worker. My husband and I moved to Aledo in 2001 and immediately fell in love with the community. We have three children at three different schools, so drop off and pick up is always a challenge! Andrew will be a sophomore at Aledo High School, Austin will be going into the eighth grade at Aledo Middle School and Addison will be going into the fourth grade at Vandagriff Elementary School. .

The Mission of Faith Presbyterian Day School (FPDS) is to offer a developmentally appropriate educational experience for toddlers and early childhood aged children in a loving Christian atmosphere. Learning activities will be provided that will encourage each child to grow spiritually, emotionally, socially and physically. Our goal is to help meet students’ needs for individual and social growth within a Christian nurturing, learning environment.

The Day School program will strive to be available to both church families and the community at large, and to provide a rich learning environment for those families and their children. FAITH Presbyterian Church of Aledo and East Parker County – through the preschool ministry of Faith Presbyterian Day School – promotes a partnership of growth for students, parents and staff. The school will provide qualified staff under the auspices of Faith Presbyterian Church.

Our Program is designed for children ages 1 to 5 years, regardless of gender, religion, or national origin. Our classes meet from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm on weekdays from September through May.
