Greeting and Announcement

Song of Gathering

He Knows My Name

I have a Maker
He formed my heart
Before even time began
My life was in His hand

Chorus
He knows my name
He knows my every thought
He sees each tear that falls
And hears me when I call

I have a Father
He calls me His own
He’ll never leave me
No matter where I go

Prayer of Confession

God of Mercy, you have gifted us with communities, and often times we take them for granted. We bring attention and focus on the differences in our community and places of brokenness. We fail to show compassion and kindness towards one another. Forgive us when we do not see your image in each and every person. Help us to show kindness and love to one another. Help us to appreciate the diversity of our communities and care for one another. Amen.

Faces of Faith

The Apostle’s Creed

I believe in God, the Father Almighty,
maker of heaven and earth,
and in Jesus Christ his only Son our Lord;
who was conceived by the Holy Ghost,
born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate,
was crucified, dead, and buried;
he descended into hell;
the third day he rose again from the dead;
he ascended into heaven,
and sitteth on the right hand of
God the Father Almighty;
from thence he shall come to judge
the quick and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Ghost,
the holy catholic church;
the communion of saints;
the forgiveness of sins;
the resurrection of the body;
and the life everlasting. Amen.
Prayers of the People and the Lord’s Prayer
Our Father, who art in heaven,
hallowed be thy name, thy kingdom
come, thy will be done, on earth
as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our debts, as we
forgive our debtors.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom, and the
power, and the glory, forever.
Amen.
