Welcome and Announcements

Here I Am To Worship

Light of the world
You stepped down into darkness
Opened my eyes, let me see
Beauty that made this heart adore you
Hope of a life spent with you

Here I am to worship
Here I am to bow down
Here I am to say that You’re my God

You’re altogether lovely
Altogether worthy
Altogether wonderful to me

King of all days
Oh so highly exalted
Glorious in heaven above
Humbly You came to the earth You created
All for love’s sake became poor

Here I am to worship
Here I am to bow down
Here I am to say that You’re my God

You’re altogether lovely
Altogether worthy
Altogether wonderful to me

And, I’ll never know how much it cost
To see my sin upon that cross (X2)

But Here I am to worship
Here I am to bow down
Here I am to say that You’re my God

You’re altogether lovely
Altogether worthy
Altogether wonderful to me

Prayer of Confession

God of grace so often we act and react out of fear. Our actions lead to broken relationships, abuse of the gifts you have given us, and isolation among other things. When fear overtakes us we forget the love and grace you have given us. We are unable to make decisions with an understanding of your goodness and your call to love you and love our neighbor. Forgive us when we do things out of fear that lead to destruction and death. Help us let go of our fear so that we can act and react in love for you and neighbors. Amen

*Affirmation of Faith

The Apostle’s Creed

I believe in God, the Father Almighty,
maker of heaven and earth,
and in Jesus Christ his only Son our Lord;
who was conceived by the Holy Ghost,
born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate,
was crucified, dead, and buried;
he descended into hell;
the third day he rose again from the dead;
he ascended into heaven,
and sitteth on the right hand of
God the Father Almighty;
from thence he shall come to judge
the quick and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Ghost,
the holy catholic church;
the communion of saints;
the forgiveness of sins;
the resurrection of the body;
and the life everlasting. Amen.
Faces of our Faith
Prayers of the People and the Lord’s Prayer
Our Father, who art in heaven,
hallowed be thy name, thy kingdom
come, thy will be done, on earth
as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our debts, as we
forgive our debtors.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom, and the
power, and the glory, forever.
Amen.

Amazing Grace

Amazing grace, How sweet the sound That saved a wretch like me. I once was lost, but now I am found, Was blind, but now I see.

‘Twas grace that taught my heart to fear, And grace my fears relieved. How precious did that grace appear The hour I first believed.

When we’ve been there ten thousand years Bright shining as the sun, We’ve no less days to sing God’s praise Than when we’ve first begun.
