“Our God”

“Build My Life”

Prayer of Confession

The Lord shelters and protects us. The Lord gives us Life! Yet, we need to bring our burdens and Sin and leave them at the foot of the cross. Let us pray:

Merciful God, You teach us that perfect love casts out fear, but we are often afraid. You command us to love our sisters and brothers, but we are often alienated from one another. You invite us to abide in You as You abide in us, but we don’t know how or where to begin. Show us once more that abiding in Your love is as easy and natural as a branch abiding in the vine. Prune our imperfections, that we may grow a strong heart.

(Let us confess in silence to God the burdens of our hearts)

Hear the Good News! The mercy of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting. I declare to you, in the name of Jesus Christ, you are forgiven. Thanks be to God.

*Affirmation of Faith

We are not alone, we live in God’s world. We believe in God: who has created and is creating, who has become present in Jesus, the Word made flesh, to reconcile and make new, who works in us and others by the Spirit. We trust in God. We are called to be the Church: to celebrate God’s presence, to live with respect in creation, to love and serve others, to seek justice and resist evil, to proclaim Jesus, crucified and risen, our judge and our hope. In life, in death, in life beyond death, God is with us. We are not alone. Thanks be to God. Amen

SACRAMENT OF THE LORD’S SUPPER

Prayers of Thanksgiving and the Lord’s Prayer

Our Father, who are in heaven, hallowed be thy name, thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen.
