Place Of Freedom

There’s a calm that covers me
When I kneel down at Your feet
It’s a place of healing
It’s a place where I find freedom

There’s a place my eyes can’t see
Where my spirit longs to be
It’s a place of healing
It’s a place I’ll live in freedom

I’m gonna lift my hands ’til I can reach heaven
I’m gonna shout Your name ’til the walls come falling down
I’ve come to worship I’ve come to worship

There’s a love that lives in me
For You Lord my Savior King
Who breaks the sin that’s binding
And leads me to a place of freedom

I’m gonna sing my song like I am unashamed
I’m gonna shout for joy at the mention of Your name
I’ve come to worship I’ve come to worship

There’s no one that can bring me peace
That can wash me clean like You Lord
There’s nothing in this world that can free me
(Oh) You saved my soul

I’m gonna lift my hands ’til I can reach heaven
I’m gonna shout Your name ’til the walls come falling down
I’ve come to worship I’ve come to worship
I’m gonna sing my song like I am unashamed
I’m gonna shout for joy at the mention of Your name
I’ve come to worship I’ve come to worship

Prayer of Confession

Holy God, We confess that it is difficult to be in relationship with one another. We let pride and anger guide us. Our actions cause deep wounds to one another, and to our relationships. We do not communicate well. We do not offer or seek forgiveness from one another. When you call us to openness and healing we turn away. Keep calling us back to you and heal our wounds. Heal our wounds, so that we can move forward with your grace and mercy. Heal our wounds so that we can offer grace and mercy to those around us. Heal our wounds so that we can let go our pride and anger and allow your grace and mercy be the driving force in our relationships. Amen

*Affirmation of Faith

The Apostle’s Creed

I believe in God, the Father Almighty,
maker of heaven and earth,
and in Jesus Christ his only Son our Lord;
who was conceived by the Holy Ghost,
born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate,
was crucified, dead, and buried;
he descended into hell;
the third day he rose again from the dead;
he ascended into heaven,
and sitteth on the right hand of
God the Father Almighty;
from thence he shall come to judge
the quick and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Ghost,
the holy catholic church;
the communion of saints;
the forgiveness of sins;
the resurrection of the body;
and the life everlasting. Amen.

Prayers of Thanksgiving and the Lord’s Prayer

Our Father, who art in heaven,
hallowed be thy name, thy kingdom
come, thy will be done, on earth
as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our debts, as we
forgive our debtors.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom, and the
power, and the glory, forever.
Amen.
